An unbreakable panoramic view |
From our land, the view is :
|
• |
open on more than 180° (see picture above) ; |
• |
unbreakable ; |
• |
continuously changing (in the valley, rice is harvested every 5 months) ; |
• |
a therapy : breathtaking... or a way to catch breath again ! |

Gunung Agung volcan |
Gunung Agung volcano (3142m) is inactive since its last
eruption in 1963, and should stay asleep for the next few centuries
(gunung means mountain). For Hinduist Balinese (90% of Bali
population) it is the residence of Gods, by analogy with Mount
Meru, in India, one of the sacred montains of
Hinduism.

|
And by night ? |
By night, we can see practically no light except stars : a
perfect place for reverie, contemplation, inspiration for
writers, or amateur astronomy.
|
|
|
And the sea ? |
Although the sea keeps invisible from our land, it surrounds it by 3 sides, at only 8 km bird-eye :
|
• |
North, the Sea of Bali, Amed and Tulamben ; |
• |
East, the Lombok Straight, just beyond Lempuyang and Seraya montains ; |
• |
South, the Indian Ocean, Amlapura. |
|
|
North or South, beaches are less than 15-20 minutes away by car...
|
|
On this panoramic view facing East
taken near Tirtagangga, our land is located at the foot of Mount
Lempuyang (background). Indian Ocean is visible at
right.
