Our land (orange lines) is nested between the primary school and the edge of the hill, overlooking the rice paddies valley.

|
East Bali |
Ideally off-centered, East Bali region remains widely
unspoiled by the side effects of urbanization and mass tourism (which mainly
affects the South part of the Island and touristic sites that can be accessed by
bus within few hours from there).
|
|
Among many advantages of this region :
|
• |
splendid landscapes (sea, volcanoes, rice paddies, villages, historical sites) ; |
• |
in the heart of Balinese traditional life ("bali asli", the "real Bali") ; |
• |
near to the sea without the inconveniences of living on the shore (price of land, water supply) ; |
• |
off-centered but not "lost" (highway, internet) ; |
• |
near a main city (Amlapura, seat of regency) ; |
• |
near many sites (Amed, Tulamben, Tirtagangga) offering
various activities (trekking, bicycle touring, beaches, diving,
snorkeling, sea fishing, climbing of Mont Lempuyang and Agung volcano, etc)
; |
• |
out of Amed and Tulamben hotels, very few places to stay for visitors ; |
• |
etc. |
|
|
|
Distances between Sadimara and few places of the surrondings |
Tirtagangga (royal baths, trekking in the
paddies) Amlapura (supermarkets, markets, hospital/clinics,
administration, royal palace) Amed (beaches, snorkeling,
diving) Tulamben, diving (on the wreck of a WW2 american Liberty
Ship) Taman Ujung (royal water gardens, beach) Pasir
Putih (white sand beach) Candidasa (tchandidassa :
beach) Klungkung (seat of Klungkung regency, also nammed
Semarapura) Gianyar (seat of Gianyar regency) Ubud
(known as "conservatoire of Balinese arts", museums, handicraft and art
galleries) Ngurah Rai international airport
(DPS)
